Charles Myers, Chairman of Signum Global Advisors, has over 20 years of US political and electoral experience advising candidates in Presidential, Senate, House of Representatives, Gubernatorial and Mayoral races, including Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden. He also has 25 years of experience in global financial markets.
As Chairman, Charles works with financial institutions and multi-national businesses to anticipate and assess policy agendas and announcements. Areas of expertise include US foreign policy and the implications of the Biden presidency in the US, Europe and Asia. Charles also forecasts global trade policy and energy dynamics.
Formerly Vice Chairman of Evercore ISI, he was the Founding Partner & Head of the Institutional Equities business. Prior to that, Charles served as Global Head of Equities and Board Member at Fox-Pitt, Kelton. Charles has a BA from Amherst College in Massachusetts and a post-graduate M. Phil degree from Cambridge University in England.
Jason Press, Senior Partner, is global head of sales and client services for Signum Global Advisors. With more than 20 years in global markets, he works with a wide variety of financial institutions and corporations providing insights and forecasting how political and global macro developments affect investment portfolios and business strategies.
Jason was a senior member of political risk advisor Eurasia Group. Previous to that, he worked in emerging markets investment strategy at Citigroup and Goldman Sachs in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, and São Paulo. Before entering the financial sector, Jason worked in Washington, DC with Republican policymakers from Kansas.
He is an active member of several industry associations including the CFA Institute and the Society of Quantitative Analysts. Jason holds a BA degree from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in international finance and banking from Columbia University (SIPA).
Anna Rosenberg, Partner and head of UK / Europe at Signum Global Advisors, advises institutional investors and executives of multinational companies in managing their global market portfolios. She helps senior executives better plan for and respond to political and economic forces outside of their control.
Prior to Signum Global, Anna worked as Director of Global Management Insights at Frontier Strategy Group and also headed the firms’ Sub-Saharan Africa research practice. Previously, Anna worked as Head of Research for IC Publications, where she was in charge of putting together major investment conferences with a focus on emerging markets.
Her work is often featured in Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, BBC and CNBC. Anna is also a Visiting Scholar at the London Institute of Banking and Finance and a BBC Expert Woman. Anna holds a Master’s degree with Distinction from the SOAS, University of London.
Andrew Bishop, Partner and global head of policy research at Signum Global Advisors, is an established political analyst with an established track record of advising institutional investors, corporates and governments on political risks in developed, emerging, and frontier markets. Andrew is also head of Signum’s Washington, D.C. office.
Andrew joined Signum from Eurasia Group where he served as Deputy Head of Research and was also a Director in the firm’s Global Macro practice. Prior to that, Andrew was a senior manager in the World Economic Forum’s strategic foresight and risk analysis unit, during which he regularly participated in the organization’s annual meeting in Davos.
Andrew is Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and actively participates in the Munich Security Conference leadership program. He received his master’s graduate of the London School of Economics and ‘SciencesPo. Paris’ and was a fellow at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C.
Lew Lukens is Senior Partner in London for Signum Global Advisors. He previously served for 30 years as a US Foreign Service officer, representing the US overseas across five administrations and five continents.
Among his many assignments, Lew served as US Ambassador to Senegal and Guinea-Bissau, Deputy Executive Secretary for Secretary Hillary Clinton, Senior Director at the National Security Council working for Dr. Condoleezza Rice and President Bush, and US Consul General in Vancouver. Most recently, Lew was the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in London.
Lew also worked in Baghdad, Dublin, Sydney, Abidjan, and Guangzhou, as well as multiple tours in Washington. At the National Security Council, he helped to coordinate the US government response to the 9/11 terror attacks.
Lew has an AB from Princeton University. In 2002 he was selected by the State Department and Princeton for a John Weinberg Fellowship and received his MPP from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
Regina Ewers, Partner, is a member of the sales and client service team for Signum Global Advisors. Regina has over 15 years experience in financial services on the buy-side and sell-side.
Prior to Signum Global, Regina worked at Artio Global Management (formerly Julius Bar Investment Management) as a senior research analyst on the International Equity Fund.
She also worked at Absolute Strategy Research as a global macro sales specialist and Merrill Lynch as a European equity salesperson. Prior to entering financial services, Regina was a senior auditor and tax consultant with Ernst & Young.
Regina received her BS in Accounting from Providence College and her MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
David Pagliaro, Partner, is Global Head of Corporate Engagement for Signum Global Advisors. Based in London, David drives the firm’s effort to build, expand and engage a large and diverse set of corporate actors globally.
David built his career at the intersection of business and international politics and is experienced in engaging C-level stakeholders, crafting mutually beneficial partnerships and in convening high-level discussions.
Prior to joining Signum Global Advisors, David worked for over seven years at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. David holds a Master’s degree in Middle East Studies from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste (Italy). He speaks fluently in French and Italian, and serves on the Board of Directors for Hackney Tennis, a London based tennis charity.
Tanya Khotin, Senior Partner, has over 25 years’ experience in finance, investment, and management consulting, having focused the past decade of her career on ESG and impact investing. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director and Head of Russian equities at UBS Investment Bank, where she worked for nearly 15 years in the New York and Moscow offices.
Prior to joining Signum Global, Tanya founded “Khotin Impact Strategies” to guide institutions toward greater impact through investment strategies and philanthropic programs. Her previous ESG experience included overseeing private equity investments at a family office and heading up institutional business development at a start-up ESG-focused financial services firm. Tanya also worked at Bain & Co., consulting to the Russian government on large-scale industry privatization in the early 1990s.
Tanya serves on the Board and chairs the Investment Committee of the Norcross Wildlife Foundation, and is on the Advisory Council of the Urban School Foods Alliance, a consortium of the top public school districts in the US.
Tanya emigrated from Moscow, USSR as a political refugee, and earned a BA in French from UC Berkeley and an MBA at Columbia Business School.
Stefan Griffiths, Partner, is head of EMEA markets sales and client services for Signum Global Advisors based in London. Prior to joining Signum, Stefan worked with Oxford Economics and Lloyds Banking Group in client engagement, business development and communications management.
He has established a career partnering with clients, helping them forecast and navigate political and global macro events and trends.
Stefan has over 10 years’ experience supporting clients throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Leeds Beckett University. His studies included stints at Columbia University and Georgetown, where he specialized in community polarisation and US politics. Stefan speaks Spanish and is a competitive CrossFitter.
